I'm addicted to the Olympics
I've never been a big Winter Olympics kind of guy. But I've really gotten into them this time for some reason. I've had them on pretty much non-stop at work and at home. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's the fact that weather's finally gotten winter-like here and it feels right. It's just kind of cool to watch sports that I'd ordinarily never care much about like speed skating, luge, the biathlon and curling.
The only bad thing is the time difference. NBC's competitors (particularly ABC's partner ESPN) just LOVES to spoil it by telling you the winners before you can watch them that night. Still, I've done a pretty good job of avoiding it despite their best efforts.
Now I'm wondering just what the heck I'm going to watch once the games are over after this weekend. I guess I can at least look forward to Scrubs and My Name is Earl coming back on.
