Too bad they didn't renew this campaign for the midterm elections this year. I'd love to see him again in 2008. But given NetZero's shrinking marketshare I'm not too hopeful. Still, it was a great all-around campaign. All the commercials had this same style humor which I enjoy.

But the surprisingly good part was actually the online component of the campaign. Candidate Zero was supposed to be on a cross-country tour like any other political figure. And to keep up with his whereabouts, NetZero's ad agency created a blog with humor in the exact same vein. Unfortunately, the site (www.candidatezero.com) no longer exists. But thanks to the Wayback Machine, you can get a glimmer of some of the old blog entries.
