Our car tags came up for renewal this month and I wanted to get a new 'helping our schools' tag for my car this year. I like those tags because:

1. The money goes to a school of your choosing.
2. They look better than the state's standard tag.
3. They're relatively inexpensive.
4. You can personalize it for no additional cost.

Since it was near the end of the month (procrastinators unite!) the line was rather long for a change. Still, Laney did well as we waited in line for about 20 minutes for our turn.

The girl at the desk was very friendly and seemed to handle the transaction very efficiently and fluidly. Still, I couldn't help but be amazed at the amount of typing that seemed to be required for a relatively minor thing. I thought my post from yesterday was rather long, but that was nothing in comparison to the novel that she was apparently required to write.

Hopefully my new tag (and the accompanying novel) should be here in the next few weeks.
